Procurement & Stock Controller

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Procurement & Stock Controller to coordinate and manage supplier relationships at a facility based in Alton, Hampshire.

As an Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Coordinate procurement activities, raising purchase orders and managing supplier relationships
• Monitor material lead times, deliveries and expediting to support maintenance and operations
• Manage site stores and inventory, maintaining minimum/maximum stock levels
• Receive goods into stores (GRN), verify deliveries against orders and update records
• Control chemical stock, ensuring correct ordering, storage and compliance
• Maintain inventory records, stock reconciliation and recommend disposal of obsolete items
• Organise transport of goods between sites and to external suppliers
• Maintain registers for equipment calibration and scaffolding
• Manage servicing, MOT, insurance and compliance for company vehicles
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental procedures
• Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Previous experience in procurement, stores or materials control (oil & gas or similar preferred)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
• IT literate, with experience of MS Office and stock control systems
• Full UK driving licence; FLT licence advantageous
