MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a experienced operational Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental (QHSE) Manager for a major Energy from Waste facility based in Dubai.

This role will involve leading the site's integrated management systems, ensuring compliance with UAE legislation and driving continuous improvement across quality, health, safety and environmental performance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for either an ex-pat or locally based Health & Safety Manager to join a state-of-the-art facility based in the Middle East.

As a QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & ISO 50001).
• Ensuring compliance with UAE HSE and environmental legislation.
• Managing HSE programmes, risk assessments and Permit to Work systems.
• Leading audits, inspections and incident investigations.
• Monitoring environmental compliance, emissions and energy performance.
• Managing contractor safety and emergency preparedness.
• Producing QHSE KPI reports for senior management.
• Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' QHSE experience in power generation, EfW or heavy process industries.
• NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent qualification.
• ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & 50001 Internal Auditor experience.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE legislation and ISO management systems.
