Design Systems Manager

Up to €85,500 + benefits

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Design Systems Manager to oversee key engineering designs for a power distribution company in Ireland. Providing Technical guidance to design teams and promoting a level of standardisation across teams, this is a unique opportunity to make a real difference within the organisation.

As a Design Systems Manager you will be responsible for:

• Development of design processes to ensure industry best practices.
• Day to day management of the Engineering Document Management System.
• Provide leadership and guidance to all team members within the design teams and ensure performance and delivery is optimal whilst providing training development and mentoring.
• Ensure systems are aligned to ISO19650
• Work closely with other company organisations, to deliver best practice and systems to all stakeholders.
• Lead the implementation of CAD standards for both internal and external clients.
• Other duties as required.

To be considered for this role you should have:

• 7 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably with a construction background.
• BIM qualification.
• Project Management Experience.
• Previous experience in leading a team of high performing skilled engineers.
• Knowledge of software including Revit and CAD tools.
• Working knowledge of IT Architecture.
