MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to focus on a hands on (not quality or environmental) role to cover the QHSE advisors 9 month maternity cover. Our client is a leading organisation within the Biomass Power generation sector.

As part of the Health and Safety team you will help to:

• Ensure the continued safe, efficient & compliant operations of the plant
• Continue to embed a culture of continuous improvement
• Monitor the sites H&S performance, proactively improving any shortfalls
• Hold regular H&S meetings
• Guide site teams
• Maintain accurate files & reports
• Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

• A NEBOSH General Certificate
• A good understanding of all HSE aspects
• First aid & fire warden training (preferred)
• Good knowledge of the MS Office suite
• A full UK driving licence

This is a 9 month contract working Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm..

The pro rate package on offer for this position includes:

• A pro rata basic salary c£38,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
• 6% Pension
• 26 days holidays
