Health and Safety Advisor
£35,000 + bonus + benefits

MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor to work at an Energy from Waste power station in the Buckinghamshire area. As the H&S Advisor you will be responsible for advising all site managers and supervisors on all safety, heath and welfare matters to ensure the site complies with its statutory obligations.
As the Health and Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for:
- Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager on all health and safety matters
- Assisting with full site compliance of the Health and Safety procedures
- Carrying out regular internal audits and assisting with external audits whilst making any rectifications
- Liaising directly with the Environment Agency (EA)
- Managing health and safety projects, working with subcontractors and operations team
- Ensuring full ISO compliance
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role you should have:
- Previous experience in a H&S Advisor position in a relevant engineering/ process environment
- NEBOSH Certificate as a minimum requirement
- Experience in a relevant sector such as Power Generation, Waste Management, Recycling, Collections, Water Treatment or Manufacturing
- Proven experience working with regulatory bodies
This is a Monday to Friday role 37.5hrs per week
