Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Location: Mitcham

We’re hiring a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias (70%) and solid mechanical skills (30%) to join our team in Mitcham. Working Monday to Friday (with an on call rota) you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our production equipment to minimise downtime and support efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electrical systems (motors, PLCs, control panels, sensors).
• Perform electrical PPM and fault-finding.
• Assist with mechanical repairs (pumps, conveyors, pneumatics).
• Support installations, upgrades, and compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3, HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong fault-finding experience in industrial environments.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• PLC knowledge (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.).

Desirable: 17th/18th Edition certified, CMMS experience, mechanical qualification.
