International Field Service Engineer – Ammonia / LNG

Up to £47,500 (DOE) + Travel allowances & great company benefits

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to cover sites in the UK and overseas, focused on the maintenance, troubleshooting and technical support for biomethane upgrading and CO2 liquefaction systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business within the Renewable Energy industry.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Travelling to sites around the UK and throughout Europe (potentially other countries as the business continues to grow)
• Carrying our preventative and corrective maintenance activities on biogas upgrading plant, CO2 liquifaction systems, and ammonia gas plants
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and process-related issues
• Support emergency breakdown interventions and customer call-outs
• Inspect and maintain compressors, pumps, valves, instrumentation and refrigeration systems
• Analyse alarms, trends and process deviations through PLC/HMI systems
• Support plant uptime and operational optimization
• Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Minimum 3 years of field service or industrial maintenance experience
• Knowledge of NH3 refrigeration systems
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capabilities
• Basic PLC/HMI understanding
• Ability to read P&IDs and electrical drawings
