MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an experienced Development Manager on behalf of a leading renewable energy business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation at the forefront of the renewable energy sector, playing a key role in the development and delivery of large-scale biogas projects.

This role will involve managing the planning process to secure planning consents for large-scale renewable energy projects.

As a Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing planning applications for large-scale biogas projects.
• Coordinating EIA, ecology and specialist consultants.
• Preparing planning and environmental consent applications.
• Managing stakeholder engagement and public consultations.
• Supporting project development, due diligence and market analysis.
• Delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Degree in Planning, Environmental Science or similar.
• 15+ years' relevant planning/environmental experience.
• Knowledge of planning and environmental legislation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Renewable energy experience desirable
