MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer to bridge the gap between complex technical solutions and customer requirements working closely with sales, engineer and customers to drive successful project outcomes.

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers throughout the sales cycle
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products, systems and applications, providing detailed technical guidance
• Collaborate with engineering and product management to ensure customer needs are effectively addressed
• Gather market intelligence and customer insights to support product development and future strategies
• Conduct site visits, system evaluation and troubleshooting where required
• Support the sales team in developing proposals, quotations and tender responses
• Other duties as required
  
  

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Ideally an HNC/HND or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• Strong technical problem-solving skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Proven experience in a technical sales, applications engineering or technical support role
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, system schematics and specifications
• Proficient in CRM systems, MS Office and technical documentation tools
• Comfortable working hands on with equipment when required
