MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Plant Operator to join the operations department of a Power Station in the West Midlands area. The Plant Operator will be responsible for the safe & efficient operation of an Energy from waste (EfW) facility.

As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Reporting to a Shift Team Leader.
• Helping ensure the continuous operation of the plant from the control room.
• Monitor performance.
• Carry out routine inspections & tests.
• Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Experience working shifts within a continuous process industry.
• Experience within power generation, Energy from Waste, defence, or similar operational environments would be advantageous.
• Computer literacy & the ability to work with operational systems
• Experience with working across teams
• Strong communication skills.
