Operations Manager

c£75,000 plus bonus

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager for a leading Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) in Nottingham.

This role will involve overseeing the day-to-day operation of the facility, providing visible leadership across the site & leading Shift Team Leaders & operational teams to deliver safe, compliant & high-performing operations.

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Providing visible leadership across the site, leading Shift Team Leaders & operational teams.
• Championing a safety-first culture & driving employee engagement.
• Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the facility, monitoring KPIs & identifying improvements.
• Enhancing efficiency, reliability & cost-effectiveness across operations.
• Developing & motivating your team, creating an environment where people can thrive.
• Other duties as required.

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Extensive people management experience within a large operational department or region at a senior level
• Practical experience of implementing and embedding corporate management systems
• Strong knowledge of the power generation, energy recovery or related industries
• A proven track record of leading, motivating and developing high-performing teams
• HND level qualification (or equivalent experience) in a relevant technical discipline, plus a full UK driving licence

The offer:

The package on offer for this role includes a salary of up to c£75,000 depending on experience, plus participation in an annual bonus scheme & company benefits including pension & holidays.
