MRF Supervisor – Waste Management / Recycling

£41,360 + shift + bonus + benefits

MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for an MRF Supervisor to join a leading waste management and resource recovery business in Glasgow. This role forms part of the operational team at one of the UK’s largest and most advanced Materials Recycling Facilities (MRFs), supporting safe, efficient, and sustainable waste processing operations.

As the MRF Supervisor you will be responsible for:

• Supervising day-to-day operations across the MRF, ensuring maximum plant availability, throughput, and performance
• Leading and motivating a production team across rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
• Supporting the Shift Team Leader and Operations Manager to maintain safe, compliant, and efficient site performance
• Monitoring plant processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Ensuring company standards and legal compliance are achieved at all times
• Promoting a positive safety culture and adherence to company procedures

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Proven supervisory experience within a production, process, or industrial facility
• Background in MRF, EfW, recycling, manufacturing, or other heavy industry environments
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage multi-skilled teams
• Experience working to KPIs and maintaining compliance and quality standards
• IOSH Working Safely (desirable but not essential)
