MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Day Shift Technician for an Energy from Waste Plant. The Day Shift Technician will be supporting the operations team in operating and maintaining the power plant.

As a Day Shift Technician you will be responsible for:

• Completing routine maintenance tasks and assisting with any plant related issues.
• Monitoring stock levels and supervising bulk deliveries and loading.
• Diagnosing plant faults and ensuring that any defects reported are followed up and completed.
• Deputise for other shift technician as required.
• Assist with plant shutdowns, helping minimise downtime.

To be considered for this role you should have:

• A basic understanding of the process behind energy from waste – training is provided.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to operate forklifts and overhead cranes or willing to learn.
• Relevant engineering qualification is desirable ie: NVQ, apprenticeship,

What’s on offer:

Starting salary of £44,000, rising to £46,161 after probation.

25 days holiday + bank holidays.

Up to 20% annual bonus.
