MC Technical Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a Control and Instrumentation Engineer for an CHP Energy Centre in Woking. As a C&I Engineer you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and development of the control, automation and metering systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Production Team Leader you will be responsible for:

• Maintain, develop and optimise the company’s SCADA and PLC control systems to ensure safe and reliable operation of district energy assets
• Manage and support the building management systems (BMS) across the portfolio ensuring integration and compatibility with SCADA and PLC controls
• Lead on the SCADA and Control systems, acting as system administrator when required
• Undertake routine inspections, testing, diagnosis and repair of Instrumentation and control systems
• Maintain accurate records, technical documentation and system configurations

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Experience within the district energy, utilities or process industries
• Experience in cyber security relating to operation technology (OT) environments
• HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Control, or Instrumentation Engineering
• EngTech/Ieng registration (or working towards)
• Hands-on experience with SCADA and PLC control systems
• Proven experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) in an operational or integration capacity
• Flexible and hybrid working may be required with occasional travel between sites
• Practical knowledge of fiscal metering and AMR systems including M-Bus, GSM and LoRaWAN
