Shift Technician

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Shift Technician to join a EfW site based near Worthing. Our client is a successful organisation working within the Power Generation sector who is currently looking for a technician to join their team.

As the Shift Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the Shift Team Leader with daily plant operations via central control room

• Working closely with the maintenance team to ensure full plant efficiency

• Receiving of goods to site

• Monitoring levels of consumables

• Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Proven experience in the EfW/Power generation sector is advantageous

• Mobile plant tickets, Is preferred, but not mandatory.

• An engineering/technical qualification ie: Apprenticeship/NVQ/Btec, Is preferred, but not mandatory.

• The ability to work a days and night shift pattern

This is a shift role & salary is £31,000 & operates in a day & night shift 4 on a 4 off shift pattern.
