MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Administrator to join a major data centre construction project in Finsterwalde, Germany.
Working for a leading international engineering contractor, this is an excellent opportunity to support the successful delivery of a large-scale data centre project. You will play a key role in managing project documentation, coordinating information flow across the project team, and ensuring all project records are maintained accurately and efficiently.
As Project Administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Downloading and distributing new project information as it becomes available
- Organising and maintaining project drawing registers
- Managing drawing revisions and ensuring superseded drawings are removed, stamped, and filed appropriately
- Updating project document management systems and shared servers with the latest information
- Logging and tracking all Requests for Information (RFIs) and design team queries
- Monitoring and recording responses to RFIs and ensuring timely close out
- Preparing, recording, and issuing site meeting minutes where required
- Maintaining registers of design changes and ensuring records remain up to date
- Supporting the smooth flow of information between project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders
- Managing live drawing files and ensuring the latest revisions are available to site personnel
- Organising and maintaining project specification registers
- Updating and managing project specifications and schedules on company systems
- Ensuring the latest specifications and schedules are available to relevant project teams
- Maintaining document control procedures and project filing systems
- Supporting project teams with document retrieval and information requests
- Assisting with project reporting and administration activities
- Monitoring document compliance and ensuring project records are maintained accurately
- Supporting compliance with relevant building regulations and design standards
- Assisting with onboarding and project administration activities where required
- Other duties as required
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in a Project Administrator, Site Administrator, Document Controller, or Project Support role
- Experience working within Construction, Engineering, Building Services, Data Centres, or related industries
- Strong document control and administration experience
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience managing technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working on Data Centre projects
- Experience using document management systems
- Construction or Engineering project administration experience
- Knowledge of building services, construction drawings, and project documentation
- Experience working on large-scale European construction projects
