MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for Power Station Operators to join a major power generation business in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity to work across three key stations, playing a vital role in ensuring safe and efficient plant operation as Ireland transitions towards Net Zero.
As a Power Station Operator you will be responsible for:
- Safe and efficient operation of all plant equipment
- Supporting shift operations, monitoring, testing, and assessing plant conditions
- Ensuring compliance with strict safety, environmental, chemical, and commercial standards
- Maintaining accurate shift records and reporting to the Shift Team Leader / Operations Manager
- Assisting in developing and implementing plant operating procedures and systems
- Providing first-line maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting outage activities
To be considered for this role you should have:
- 2+ years’ experience in process or plant operations
- Ability to analyse, process, and control plant information and conditions
- Flexibility and availability to provide shift cover as required
- Craft qualification in Control & Instrumentation, Electrical, or Mechanical Fitting is desirable
- Full driving licence
- Relevant CSCS tickets or equivalent qualifications
- Knowledge of HSE and environmental legislation and standards
- Familiarity with safe systems of work and contractor supervision
- Experience with Maintenance/Operations Management Systems desirable
