MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Multiskilled Technician to join a growing engineering team within the process and energy sector.

This role will involve working as part of a site-based engineering team, supporting electrical and mechanical maintenance activities across operational facilities. The successful candidate will have a strong electrical bias, ideally with experience in process controls, automation, and industrial environments.

As a Multiskilled Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance activities across operational sites
• Fault finding, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, mechanical, and process equipment
• Supporting process control systems, automation, and instrumentation activities
• Working alongside mechanical engineers and site teams to ensure safe and reliable plant operation
• Completing planned and reactive maintenance tasks in line with company procedures
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with health and safety standards
• Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within an electrical/mechanical engineering role
• Strong electrical bias with experience in industrial environments
• Experience with process controls, automation, and electrical systems
• Background within process industries such as utilities, water, energy, or similar sectors
• Ideally experience working within biogas, anaerobic digestion, or related environments
• A strong understanding of health and safety requirements, ideally within COMAH-regulated sites
