MC Technical Recruitment is currently supporting the search for a Multi Skilled Operator to join the team at a busy and vital Resource Recovery and Recycling Facility in Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire. This site supports the UK's climate-positive future by safely processing waste into reusable resources.

As a Multi Skilled Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Sorting and separating waste streams using fixed and mobile plant
• Operating equipment such as 360 grabs and front-end loaders
• Performing regular inspections and daily checks on plant equipment
• Supporting maintenance teams with minor on-site repair tasks
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards across the site
• Adhering to all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements
• Other duties as required

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Experience in a production or recycling environment
• Valid mobile plant licences (e.g. 360 grab, FEL)
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
• Awareness of workplace Health & Safety practices
• A team-oriented mindset and good communication skills
