MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced MEP Senior Project Manager to join a major data centre project in Germany.

Working for a leading international engineering contractor, this is an excellent opportunity to lead the delivery of large-scale mechanical and electrical packages on a flagship data centre development. You will take full ownership of project delivery, managing multidisciplinary teams, key stakeholders, commercial performance, and project execution from commencement through to handover.

As MEP Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

· Leading the full project lifecycle from planning through to completion

· Developing and managing project execution plans, programmes, and deliverables

· Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

· Driving high-performance standards across multidisciplinary project teams

· Managing project cost control, forecasting, and budget performance

· Working closely with commercial teams to manage variations, risks, and opportunities

· Developing and tracking short-term and long-term programme milestones

· Providing accurate reporting to senior management and key stakeholders

· Acting as the primary interface between the client, project stakeholders, and delivery teams

· Chairing project meetings, technical workshops, and progress reviews

· Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners

· Leading, mentoring, and developing project teams across engineering, commercial, and site functions

· Promoting collaboration and a positive, high-performance culture across the project

· Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements

· Promoting a strong safety culture across all aspects of project delivery

· Overseeing quality assurance and quality control processes

· Ensuring all MEP systems are delivered in line with design specifications and client requirements

· Reviewing engineering deliverables and installation methodologies

· Supporting commissioning, testing, and final handover activities

· Ensuring effective coordination and integration across all building services disciplines

· Other duties as required

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Proven experience operating as a MEP Project Manager or Senior Project Manager on large-scale construction projects

• Strong background within data centres, pharmaceutical, industrial, or mission-critical environments

• Experience managing MEP packages in excess of €20M

• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services systems

• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary project teams

• Strong commercial awareness and contract management experience

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

• Experience managing programme delivery, budgets, and project reporting

• Ability to lead projects in a fast-paced construction environment

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience working on hyperscale or colocation data centre projects

• Experience working across multiple European projects

• Commissioning and handover experience on complex MEP installations

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline

• Knowledge of mission-critical environments and associated standards
