MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter to carry out routine maintenance at a waste recovery facility in Knaresborough

As an Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for:

• Rectify problems on mechanical assets such as conveyor belts, pumps, gearboxes, valves and cranes
• Carry out fabrication work and general workshop duties
• Be responsible for PPM and Reactive maintenance work
• Operate workshop machinery
• Effectively use the site CMMS system

To be considered for this role you should have:

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter
• Mechanical technical apprenticeship
• Level 3 NVQ3 / BTEC
• CSE/GCSE Equivalent
• IOSH Managing
