MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Electrical Instrumentation & Controls (EC&I) Team Leader to join a major power generation business in Dublin. This role will form a key part of the maintenance team, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of multiple generation stations.

As the EC&I Team Leader you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring safety compliance through permits to work, setting to work, and risk assessments
  • Scheduling and coordinating planned and reactive maintenance activities
  • Supervising, building, and developing the Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls Team
  • Managing contractors, procurement of key services and components
  • Supporting projects and improvement initiatives including process safety and long-term asset planning
  • Carrying out hands-on electrical maintenance, fault-finding, testing, and commissioning
  • Maintaining accurate records via the computer maintenance management system
  • Preparing and reviewing task-specific method statements and risk assessments

To be considered for this role you should have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in power generation (thermal, hydro, renewables) or heavy process industry with EI&C systems
  • FAS / SOLAS / Senior Trade electrical craft qualification or equivalent
  • Strong safety focus and leadership ability to drive a safety-first culture
  • Proven knowledge of HV/MV/LV systems and/or control & instrumentation equipment
  • Experience with electrical schematics, P&IDs, calibration, and test equipment
  • Good IT skills with MS Office and CMMS systems
  • Full driving licence
